Sensei Taylor has been a student of karate since 1970 and an instructor of karate since 1980.  He has also achieved advanced black belts in Shotokan, Jujitsu, and Shito-Ryu karate-do. He has been a teacher of  Shito-Ryu karate since 1984 and has established three karate club in the state of Alaska, all of which are in operation today.
